[Marxism] Fidel Castro: Salvador Allende: His example lives on
Walter
Reading your position on Salvador Allende's Popular front government, some
one can think that such a government is a new phenomenon in history.
The defeats of the working class revolutionary movement between the two
world imperialist wars as well after the WII is result of such governments
that demoralized the working class and thus allowed the right wing including
the local generals like Augusto Pinochet to organize the coup backed by US
imperialism. This was the same kind of government of Alexander Kerensky, and
was it not for the Bolsheviks , the white general Lavr Kornilov would have
done exactly the same Pinochet did
.
