[Marxism] Death of Maneul Mirulanda

Apparently the news stories of the death of Manuel Mirulanda are true. Here
is a link to a video on the Semana magazine site.The speaker in the video is
a recognized FARC leader, who goes by the name Timochencko. The death of
Mirulanda is sad news, he was a symbol of lifelong struggle against the
murderous regime of the Colombian ruling class. How much his death will
afffect the FARC is an open question.

The FARC is in a deep crisis in any case, as the surrender of one the best
known military commanders of the FARC last week further revealed. "Karina"
has given several interviews to the press here, all of which relate the
weakness of the FARC's national and regional structures.
