There's nothing to say in response because nothing in what was
said by Louis had anything whatsoever in any way, shape or
form with the xenophobic attacks in South Africa in May 2008.

As is so typical of a certain argumentative style, everything
is presented in the realm of the abstract, but nothing therein
has anything to do with life in the 21st Century. If you don't
like what Marx and Engels said in 1848, it proves nothing to
cite what Leon Trotsky wrote in 1939. There have been one or
two changes in the world since 1939. 

National wars retain immense significance in the present time.
We could start with Cuba's half century war to rid its national
soil of foreign occupation. We could add the resistance of the
Palestinian people to Zionist occupation. The people of Iraq
are fighting a war of national resistance, as are the people
of Iran, threatened from abroad by Washington as well.

Proyect may reject national wars, but they will continue until
a solution to the national problem is found. A tree does make
noise in the forest even if no one is there to hear it, ane
even if one is deaf, as I fear some people are. As they say in
Alcoholics Anonymous, "Denial is not a river in Egypt."
