[Marxism] If Cheney & Co. Had Really Plotted the 9/11 Attacks

Shawn, there were always *rumors* floating around the Black community 
and other places that crack was a conspiracy by the CIA to destroy
Black 
youth. But it was ONLY *conspiracy theory* or, to be more polite, a 
"rumor" until real investigative journalists started to uncover this, 
and tracing forward from the CIA attempted photoshop-like manipulation

of photos purporting to show leading FSLN cadre loading cocaine and 
crack onto airplanes that this no longer became simply a plausible
rumor 
but fact, or close to it (the CIA still denies it but clearly those 
plane brought those drugs someplace).

If it wasn't for Hasafus and Iran-Contra I doubt this story would of 
gotten by the rumor stage.

CB: You aren't saying that Black people couldn't assess a government
conspiracy without the help of a white newspaper reporter, are you ? 
The Black Panthers and all kinds of Black political thinkers
hypothesized that "the Man " was putting drugs into the Black community,
in the early 70's , long before the Iran-Contra newspaper articles. And
this was based on evidence and inference that is not accurately
characterized as rumor.   For one thing,  people witnesses white people
who were involved in the trade, and could spot police agents.  You don't
think Black people didn't talk to each other about these actually
observed facts.  For another thing, there had been racism in even the
underworld enterprises. So , the fact that Black people were allowed to
get into the trade was a suspicious fact in itself.  Finally, all
theories about government conspiracies must be based on evidence less
than a smoking gun, since , obviously, in almost all cases the
government has the ability to coverup their crime, and will not be
investigated by an authority with the power to fully investigate, since
the government agency committing the crime usually ranks the prosecutors
and police who could investigate.  That's why there will almost never be
a Watergate type discovery of conspiracies.
