Shawn, there were always *rumors* floating around the Black community 
and other places that crack was a conspiracy by the CIA to destroy Black 
youth. But it was ONLY *conspiracy theory* or, to be more polite, a 
"rumor" until real investigative journalists started to uncover this, 
and tracing forward from the CIA attempted photoshop-like manipulation 
of photos purporting to show leading FSLN cadre loading cocaine and 
crack onto airplanes that this no longer became simply a plausible rumor 
but fact, or close to it (the CIA still denies it but clearly those 
plane brought those drugs someplace).

If it wasn't for Hasafus and Iran-Contra I doubt this story would of 
gotten by the rumor stage.

There are, clearly now, several, very contradictory conspiracy-theories 
in the overall "9/11 Truth Movement":

1. The planes hit the towers and the CIA/Mossad either new about it or 
planned it. Period.
2. The planes hit the towers and this set off planted explosives by the 
CIA/Mossad all up and down the building including building 7 just for 
good measure.
3. The planes did 1 or 2 but no plane hit the Pentagon and lastly
4. There were no planes at all, it's all fake, just like the moon 
landings...

Chose one but can't choose all of 'em! This is why the "9/11 Truth 
Movement" won't go far (other than the obvious reason) because they 
don't agree among themselves and everyone has a competing theory. Which 
is probably why if there is any conspiracy it's the one to set up the 
Truth Movement in order to divert attention away from real politics, 
like Iraq.

Having said that, I for one do not discount point 1 at all. A "definite 
maybe" on that. Which is all I can say for now until someone steps 
forward with the actual evidence and not just lots of circumstantial 
evidence, suggestions and rumors.
