Re: [Marxism] If Cheney & Co. Had Really
It seems now that the center of the conspiracy theory rests on the
dozens (hundreds?) of engineers who believe that the towers were brought
down with explosives, that the rate of collapse is "impossible" without
planted explosives, etc etc. I only know of a few people on the fringes
of this fringe movement that think there were no planes at all.
To be honest, the whole "The US gov't did it" scenarios are irrelevant
to exposing capitalism and building a movement against it. MOST people
in the US believe there was a second gunman that killed JFK and there
was a conspiracy. And the conclusion is:"so what?". It's hasn't caused 1
degree of *radicalization* in the US despite these high numbers. Not one
degree more.
When a St. Elsberg comes forward and presents this to the NYT or LA
Times and it has various gov't officials names on it, then we can start
talking. We all knew the gov't was infiltrating the left in the 1960s
and 70s. So what? Anyone who started harping about this then was, while
actually truthful, was playing their game. It wasn't until it was really
exposed that any sort of political hay could be made of the gov't
admitted COINTELPRO antics. To get involved in this 9/11 stuff is a
losers game.
