Dear Louis,

I am not that bothered that you violently and rudely disagree with me and
other people on China et al.

But when one is proposing engaging with Chinese people on the facebook
group, and you come back with the cheapest of ways to rubbish it, then I
would say that I fear that perhaps you really are being unfair, and more
importantly, unfair on a question that is perhaps one of the most important
questions for anti-imperialism today - CHINA.

If anyone has followed the 'Tibet WAS, IS and ALWAYS WILL BE a part of China
group', which is now nearly 30,000 strong, you will know that the admin
policy towards discussions is really very liberal, and they tolerate (to an
extent) all kinds of abuse and neo-colonial arrogance there amongst other
things.

Anyway, if one can contribute to this list despite some of its shortcomings,
I am sure that people can feel much more at ease on that group.

In the final analysis, either one wants to engage with the oppressed
peoples, or one doesnt. And things like this facebook group is one of the
very rare chances to discuss, engage and share views with Chinese people.
