Though on the theoretical level it is not easy to disagree with
Shane's position, in practice there are many hues to be considered.

Was LDTrotsky "social-imperialist" when he suggested not to Satanize
German Social Democrats (to be sure, the murderers of Rosa, and this
had happened less than two decades ago) against Hitler?

The quote on the greenness of the tree of life is apt, again.

We must not throw to the dustbin a strong opposition in Canada against
the worst warmongering members of USAmerican bourgeoisie, not at least
without careful consideration. Canadian-US borders are not an iron
curtain. Things squeeze through it. Usually they filter Northwards.
But geese fly South as well as North.
