[Marxism] Is Obama toast this time? Will our clueless critic finally get to butter him?

Ruthless Critic of All that Exists 

Of course *I* recognize McCain's or Clinton's condescension. That is
not the point here. The point is that the objects of condescension do
not recognize it. (If they did, why would they have voted twice for
Bush, who condescended to them just as McCain or Clinton do?)

The point is that intellectualized-seeming, professorial-seeming
condescension (as in Gore's or Obama's) does not pass muster in the
USA. Condescension disguised in populist rhetoric (as in Bush's,
McCain's or Clinton's) passes muster.

CB: Obama _was_ careless, but evidently this was said in what was
supposed to be a closed meeting, and put out in public by some
Huffington Post sneak, one of the treacherous "lefties" who have an
interesting hatred for Obama.  

But now that it's out in public and broadcast by the other candidates
and broadcasters, it may force Obama to articulate more fully the
important anti-capitalist truths that underlie the thought he expressed.
Stay tuned.  There's quite an interesting "dialectic" going on here.

Basically, Obama is looking for a way to get more white working class
votes. His statement was an off the coff, casual discussion explanation,
supposedly among friends,  as to _why_ he was not getting those votes to
some extent ( although he _is_ getting a very significant proportion of
them; that's an amazing part of the whole campaign). Now , he may have
to try to get them by doing some heavy duty truth telling about the
system , shoot the moon, so to speak. What has he got to lose now by
going even deeper on the issue ?  Really telling the truth about the
topic of economic immiseration of masses.  What if he makes a speech on
class like his speech on race ! That could be the mother load. 

Anybody who can't tell that O knows the left ideology on all this
really is not paying close attention. Do you think he slept threw _all_
of Rev. Wright's sermon's over 20 years ?  The right-winger Kristol's
article on this episode was titled "The Mask Comes Off" or some such.
The rightwingers are actually telling the truth on this one. Rove, too, 
said O is a leftwinger. The cool thing is so far they are being treated
like Cassandras.  If O gets the nomination, or even wins, and the
rightwing starts exposing him as a "Marxist" , what would that mean to
all the people who supported him, all the young people ? Are the rulers
going to make a martyr out of a popular "Marxist" or at least "leftist"
? His speeches and books would become "little redbooks" for Americans.

Of course, he'll need a very "liberal" Congress to do anything.
