Not to be disagreeable here, but the kind of redbaiting we're
seeing directed against Obama in the primary period is but a
tiny hint of what's likely to be thrown at him should he get
the actual nomination.  It's not necessary to argue with one
or anothe rightist idiot, but we should be cognizant of what
kind of mud is going to be slung in this election campaign
as the stakes get higher and higher.
