Nepal's Maoists call for capitalism

The New York Times

Prachanda's party is calling for an overhaul of the state and
abandoning "feudal property relations" for a "capitalistic mode of
production."

An interesting question, in my opinion, is what repercussion the
Maoist victory in Nepal will have on Indian Maoists. It is estimated
that Maoist insurgents are active in almost one-fourth of the total
number of districts in India.

By the way, did you notice ow CNN (perhaps unintentionally or
ignorantly) spinned the headline in the URL you posted? CNN says:
"Ex-communist rebels ahead in Nepal", but these are not
"ex-communists", they are very much communists. They are "communist
ex-rebels", not "ex-communist rebels". Maybe CNN finds it difficult to
believe that communists can win elections in this day and age.
