Correct me if I am wrong, I was hardly alive at the time and am not very 
conversant with that, but I suppose it was newsworthy, as I suggested. Also 
interesting that you consider the SU an imperialist state.

So you think the "pressure from below" is not orchestrated by imperialist 
interests?
