No! "We" have not lots the art at all; rather, the enemy is so strong
that most of the "masses" do not even know we exist, and they certainly
are not within reach of our voices. There is no evidence at all that
leftists (don't say "the left," because no such beasty exists) are not
still capable of communicating under any circumstances in which
comunication is materially possible. You don't blame a speaker in an
empty hall for lacking commuincative skills.

In any case, it is not in the first instance anyone's commuicative skill
that persuades people; changed conditions persuade people or, rather,
cause them to look for those who can explain those conditions to them.

This is too short, but my eyes are shot, and I can barely read my own
words, hence must keep it short. I've been arguing this point (as has
Miles Jackson) for 7 years on lbo-talk.
