There really are limits to what u.s. politicians of _either_ party will
do to gain election. A war on Iran would have to have bi=partisan
support.

And at a later date, there might be such support (particvularly under a
DP president), but to sugest the GOP would start WW3 to win an election
is in the realm of conspiracy theory, not political analysis.
