Hi Jay,

I had a look at the debka.com site - the first time for nearly a year - and
yes the loonies do appear to be at work banging on the war drum.  I cannot
beleive it though.  For so long I was convinced an attack on Iran was about
to be launched and it never happened.  Fred and others convinced me I was
crying "wolf".

Mind you the Basra campaign was a disaster for the pro-American side in Iraq
and it did strengthen Iran's prestige and influence.

But still to begin a third war in the last months of the Bush presidency, is
simply stretching credibility too far, even when stupidity is factored in.

Surely (???)
