One small problem Nestor. The Buddhists in Lhasa are neither  
theocrats nor feudalists. Buddhists, almost by definition, do not  
believe in god, and if there is some sort of accretion from Bon  
shamanism, it is not theistic. The D.L. and his groups have also long  
since abandoned any return to feudalism. I think, from what I know  
about the D.L., he was personally rather shocked by the extreme  
poverty and backwardness of feudal Tibet, and does not see going back  
to that sort of arrangement to be a good thing for anyone concerned.   
Of course I could be wrong, but at least I stirred the pot a little.
