Yes, it is counter-productive on many levels. It is
counter-productive to efforts to build a cohesive political movement,
it is counter-productive to mounting a real challenge to the
democrats, and it is counter-productive to his own campaign efforts.

I honestly have no idea what he thinks the advantages of this are,
from the perspective of making real political progress for the left.
