No. The crux is that all nations are different and each imperialist nation 
is imperialist in its own way.

Heartfelt thanks to all who have 'defended' me, in various styles, during 
the recent witch-troll-trial.

Thanks also to Louis for his advice on variety as the spice of life. I try 
to write the shortest possible emails and not pester everyone here with my 
pet theory, but it is hard to stay quiet when certain dramatic events that 
touch on it occur, such as the recent Turkish invasion of Iraq, Kosovo's 
declaration of independence, or the South American crisis. And, to be fair, 
my recent essay on the body - the result of several months' work - provoked 
no debate whatsoever; you must have found it far more boring and bland. In 
addition to spice, life needs passion, and this topic happens to be one of 
mine at the moment. But I am working on some others and will keep you 
posted.
