Just a question here: How long did it take the US to leave ("flee" is a 
better word) Vietnem? Not very many days. Anyone who talks of 
withdrawing from Iraq should talk in terms of days, not months and years.

Next: There have been several polls showing that nearly 100% of Iraqi 
are opposed to the privatization of their oil. As I write, the US 
captive collaborators and crooks (there's little difference) are handing 
out oil and gas contracts on scandalous terms. Two recent articles in 
the Asian Times on line indicate how serious and extensive this is. "The 
door to Iraq's oil opens" by M K Bhadrakumar, and another by Pepe 
Escobar, "US's Iraq oil grab is a done deal."

I'm sure a little investigation will reveal more gruesome details.

None of us should accept a poll where the results obviously run counter 
to the people's best interests. And Louis's conclusions are 101% accurate.
