[Marxism] Obama aides

Have too much work to speak to the issues anymore; dropping out of the Obama 
debate for several months.

 So quickly. Proyect, NAFTA gate has been turned upside down in the last few 
days.  More likely the back channel communication went from Clinton to Brodie; 
her aides said that she would be blowing smoke on NAFTA. Goolsbee's memo only 
reiterates Obama's commitment to stronger social clauses in trade agreements. 
Obama has never been a protectionist in public and has always backed off saying 
in public that he wants to scrap NAFTA. That's not his public position. He 
wants stronger social clauses in it. 
Also the withdrawal controversy is upside down. Clinton's advisors Keane and 
Pollack have said in recent days that Clinton will not begin an immediate 
withdrawal and that she will sacrifice campaign promises for national security. 
Power thinks only Obama will do the things to get out quickly and without 
catastrophe. She's not sure he can do it in 16 months but she has no doubts 
that he'll be able to do it quickly. The admissions from the Clinton camp are 
infinitely worse, so please don't follow Henwood in his one-sided criticism of 
Obama. He's the only credible anti-war candidate. His vote on cluster bombs 
should tell you something. So should his record on civil liberties. Just 
because Henwood can't talk about these things doesn't mean we should not.
