[Marxism] Speculation about the USA and the Crisis in Nueva Grenada

Hello everybody!

It might be a good time to start paying serious
attention to the crisis in the northwest corner of
South America and how it might be related to real
estate problems in the USA.

What is the single most valuable piece of real estate
in the USA, and probably on the planet Earth?

I would say the most likely answer is the Oval Office
in the White House.

Whoever controls it has enourmous wealth, and
influence over wealth at her, or his, fingertips.

People have killed for much less.

Control of that piece of real estate is very likely to
pass into the hands of one or another group of
Democratic Party capitalists, and out of the hands of
all Republican Party capitalists.

Unless something evil, and sneaky is done, and done
soon.

Assassination of Democratic Party candidates is not
likely to hand the elections to the GOP. So what
could?

A war with Iran would have been good, except that idea
would totally fuck up any chance at victory in Iraq,
and send the whole region spinning into an
unpredictable and probably uncontrollable mess.
(Unlike the present mess which seems to still be more
or less under control in the minds of Bush, McCain et.
al.'soptimistic words about surges, and so forth.)

So what could they possibly do to tip the scales of
the elections in McCain's favor. A nice controllable
war against dirty South American Communist Drug
Dealing terrorists! And besides they could get
Venezuela's oil too!

Condisleaza Rice visited Colmobia around Christmas,
trailing a bunch of Democratic Party Congress people.
It looed like it was just a PR trip, but maybe not.

The events whhich followed were,

1) A massive march promoted by the entire Colombian
media, business establishment, and political
superstructure against the FARC.

2) A well planned military offensive against the FARC
which has netted some of its most important leaders,
including but not limited to the assasination of Raul
Reyes within the national territory of Ecuador.

3) "Revelations" that the government of Venezuela has
supposedly paid the FARC $300 million dollars, and
that the government of Ecuador has had close secret
relations with the FARC. Based on supposedly captured
computers of Raul Reyes.

What will come next?

Here is a scenario.

A) The Colombian military tries to "rescue" FARC held
hostages, including Ingrid Betancourt. 

B) In "hot pursuit" of FARC guerrillas, the Colombian
army crosses into Venezuela where they become involved
in a fire fight with the Venezuealan army.

C) Colombian fights are dispatched to support the
trapped Colombian soldiers. A Venezuelan plane shoots
one of the Colombian Super Tudans down.

D) War is decclared around the first of October.

E) A US Carrier group off the coast of Venezuela
becomes the base for US air attacks on terrorists in
Venezuela, and for airlifts of US troops into the war
zone.

F) The United States and Colombia attempt to
assasinate Hugo Chavez using  the same technology and
techniques that were used against Raul Reyes.

Then the elections occur in the United States amidst a
new war which demands a seasoned commander in chief
with unbliemished credentials as a patriot and a
warrior.

In 2009 President McCain visits Latin America. 

Just speculation.
