For better or worse I tried to reply to both questions at some
length. You may not have liked my answer that represented imperialism
as an effect of capitalism's deepening contradiction, and that
imperialism represents a late phase of capitalist development, but at
least there are answers on the floor. So why pose the question again?
Better would be to criticize the definitions already out there.
I did not address the notion "monopoly capitalism", but one might
infer that it (and fascism) refer to the internal effects of deepening
capitalist contradictions. My approach may be too simplistic,
admittedly, but at least the questions you raise have already been
addressed in this thread for better or worse.
