Obama's campagin is not financed by PAC money; more than 90% of it has been 
financed by donations less than $100. To be sure, the wealthy have given him 
some money but that is only a matter of trying to get ahead of and pay hush 
money to a candidate riding a wave of bottom up popular support. 

 It's not clear to me why Nader would want to compromise rather than join 
Obama's campaign. Clinton can discourse all she wants about withdrawing from 
Iraq (though note that she has not been unequivocal about removing the bases as 
Obama has), but unless she is willing to talk to Iran and Syria, no such 
withdrawal will be possible. Obama has said often and loud that he will 
negotiate without preconditions. He also voted against Kyl Lieberman which was 
an authorization for war with Iran (Samantha Power even said that we must take 
the the threat of strikes off the table!) Obama's campaign is the expression of 
populist and class tinged anger at the occupation of Iraq. The people have made 
him. 

It behooves radicals to participate in the swelling bottom up campaign which 
has surprisingly catapulted Obama into the national spotlight. 

I can't see the Nader campaign as anything but sectarian nonsense.
