You seem to be saying that while Herman and Ali show that the magnitude of 
massacres had been wildly exaggerated, neither did in fact speak to the 
implications of 300,000 Kosovars being driven from their burned homes and 
Milosevic's amassing of military and police power to do more of the same. I 
have already said that there was no way NATO would have used force in a 
consciousable way and hence people were right to oppose the bombing.  By the 
way, I don't Marx would have been a Stalinist.
