Cuba-China Communist Youth Organizations Tighten Relations 

Havana, Feb 2 (acn) Cuba's Young Communist League First Secretary
Julio Martinez met in Beijing with his Chinese counterpart Hu Chunhua
on Friday. Martinez´ visit to China has been considered one more step
towards the strengthening of relations between both youth
organizations.

During the talks, Martinez and Chunhua addressed current links
between both organizations and the main tasks undertaken by youths in
both nations. China may learn from the Cuban experience, particularly
in terms of the social work being carried out by the Cuban youths,
said Hu Chunhua.

During his visit to China, Julio Martinez also met with Beijing's
Youth League First Secretary Liu Jian. Both leaders underscored the
support offered by Cuba to a group of Chinese youths in improving
their skills in the Spanish Language in order to offer their services
in the upcoming Olympic Games, to be hosted by the Asian nation.

China was the fist leg of a tour that will also take the Cuban Young
Communist League delegation to Russia and Belarus.
