[Marxism] Book on Marx's theory of alienation for free downloading

Nasir Khan:

Development of the Concept and Theory of Alienation in Marx's Writings (1995)

In this book the question of human alienation comes under a profound scrutiny.
It explains how starting from a critique of the views of Feuerbach regarding
religious alienation and Hegel's philosophy of the state and civil society for
political alienation, Marx comes to formulate a socio-economic theory of
alienation in the Paris Manuscripts of 1844. The old concept of alienation is
given new meanings and content in Marx.

Dr Nasir Khan's analysis aims at noting the progressive transformation of
Marx's ideas regarding alienation up till 1844. All the theoretical shifts are
minutely observed, compared and contrasted in the writings under research. He
cogently argues that the basic impulse underlying Marx's works from the
beginning to the end is humanistic, the doctrine of alienation being essential
in the corpus of his writings.

This book makes a significant contribution to understand a central and
continuing problem of modern man and his world through the perspective of Marx,
the great advocate and philosopher of human fulfilment and freedom.

This research book first published in 1995 has been available in Europe and
America at a price of US$45.00. But with a view to stimulate interest in
Marxist philosophy among students of philosophy in general and specialists in
Marxist philosophy in particular, I have decided to put the book on the web for
free downloading. To download it please go to Nasir Khan blogs at:
