[Marxism] on posting to marxmail without receiving emails

Someone just asked me offlist:

    "Is it possible to subscribe & be able to post to the list without
    receiving  the emails? I follow the postings on the web."


The answer is: absolutely.


disabling email delivery:

we have a scheme in place where you can add your email address to the 
subscription list but emails are not delivered to you. this allows you 
to post directly to the list, but read the proceedings in a number of 
ways on the web.

if you prefer this method of subscription, send me an email offlist with 
the email address you want to post from, and i will set it up. or, 
follow the instructions here:

searching marxmail:

speaking of searchable archives, note that google also offers a very 
fast way of searching the marxmail database. for example, at google, 
search like so:

    email delivery disable site:archives.econ.utah.edu

and you will see results only from maxmail posts.
