Once more just for the record and perhaps to save Brenner the effort of 
a response, a reminder of Brenner's focus at the Brecht forum (not that 
he was in a more general way analyzing stagnation to the exclusion of 
analysis of cataclysmic crashes):

"...the debate at the Brecht forum, for which you have the video, is 
about the question of the dynamism of the US economy, not about whether 
we are today entering an economic crisis..." and that "grasping this 
declining economic dynamism, not least in the current business cycle, is 
indispensable for understanding what’s happening in the economy today."
