However, I would point out a certain polysemy in the use of the term
'Liberal'. Many people would assume that to be 'liberal' means to be
committed to human equality, brotherhood, and so on. On this view, too be
'liberal' is to be anti-imperialist almost by definition. Historically,
however, this is not an accurate summary of liberalism, which is one reason
why the current "pro-war left" is eminently intelligible. Pre-order your
