Re: [Marxism] Venezuelan revolution at the crossroads

In fact, class struggle between bourgeois and working class in
L.America is waged around who will best confront the allied efforts of
domestic oligarchies and imperialism (that is, imperialist
bourgeoisies) to thwart and put an end to -domestic bourgeois
developments in Latin America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We Marxists "know" that L.American bourgeoisies will not be up to
their task. But it is "we", not the masses, who know that. It wonÂt be
through bombastic and in the end counter-revolutionary declarations
like those by A. Woods that Permanent Revolution will fall from its
Heavenly Shibboleth-like seat to become an active reality in L.
America.

L American Marxists have a very long road ahead, and adoption of
"class consciousness" by our working classes (as if anti-imperialist
class consciousness was not an essential step into the formation of an
independent working class consciousness, BTW!) will be the result of
our deep involvement in the concrete struggles of our exploited
classes. These struggles canÂt and mustnÂt follow ANY kind of
London-drafted blueprints, in the same way that it would be folly for
any British Marxist to attempt to seriously incide in the political
struggle of the British working class with, say, Zimbabwean
blueprints.
