I also agree that it does no good fortune telling. One is usually wrong.
Take the title of another thread: Dollar in Free Fall...
No, it's not. If it was, it would like like the Mexican peso in 1980 or the
Asian currencies 5 years ago. THAT was free
fall. The US dollar has plunged over several years now and it certainly doesn't
look like it's going to stop any time
soon. But that's not the same thing as a 'free fall' or the dollar becoming
worthless. If it was, it would be, and it
wouldn't be convertable for much longer, which it is, and for the next period.
That it is going down in value is
certainly true. But "free fall"? Not yet.
