"Ruthless critic of all that exists" and apparently a bunch of stuff which
doesn't exist opines, about the China discussion, "Why does it have to be
one or the other? Dialectically speaking, can it not be all of these at
once? Why do we have to choose among these possibilities?"
"Dialectically speaking," no it cannot be all those different things at once
-- not for any useful, practical political purpose. It's not a question of
the "context" -- the context is the world political and economic system.
Paula's claim that China is an imperialist country in that context is what
this discussion has been about.
