Ghulam Mustafa Lakho writes: "I find myself unable to get your point."
OK, for the literal minded:
My point is: what was YOUR point in posting the link? Why did you think it
worthy to bring to our attention RIGHT NOW an article from eight years ago?
When Louis posts, for example, the link to a new MR piece on Venezuela, the
political reason for that is self-evident. But when it is an old article
about "brainwashing" in general, which as used here appears to be a
euphemism for torture, that's not the case.
Ghulam Mustafa Lakho writes: "you have committed the logical fallacy, for
the reasons best known to you; the fallacy, which is known as argumentum ad
hominem."
Jeesh. It was a joke. Did you miss that? And the reason for the FORM of the
joke is that quite literally you presented no argument AT ALL. Had I wanted
to comment on what you said I could not have because you said nothing.
"Reductio ad absurdum" and all that, which pretty much exhausts my stash of
Latin phrases.
