Stan's dairy at the Daily Kos  states: "A memo from CIA officer Michael 
Middleton Steere, addressed to CIA Director General Michael Hayden in 
Washington DC, has been intercepted by Venezuelan counter-intelligence; 
and it shows that the US plans to attempt another coup d'etat against 
the democratically elected government of Venezuela on the eve of a 
historic constitutional referendum that will democratize political power 
to the grassroots of the majority more thoroughly than anything we have 
seen in this hemisphere... ever."

OK...while it's completely believable that a coup attempt may be going 
on now...that "A memo from the CIA...has been intercepted by Venezuelan 
counter-intelligence" seems to me to be absolute bullshit, to wit:

It means that Venezuelan counter-intelligence has just let the same CIA 
know that it has been able to "intercept" internal memos to and from the 
CIA. Seems it just gave away a huge advantage don't ya'll think???!!!! 
I'd take this whole story with a  kilo of salt.

Interestingly, it's amazing how many Marxmailers have diaries on the 
Daily Kos! One of the reasons that people maintain them is the huge 
amount of comments all dairies get at the Daily Kos.  Stan's got over a 
hundred in less than a day. The Daily Kos is one of those liberal 
pro-Democratic Party blogs...or that is what it is *supposed* to be. But 
anyone can have one. I maintain one also there that focuses on energy 
issues.
