No you're not. Put into a nutshell, what we have is that China raised
herself through a (ideologically) socialist revolution from a largely
dysfunctional semicolony into a functional _bourgeois_ society - something
like the USSR of the NEP era . Something magnificient, in its way, but still
as far a cry from an imperialist economy as from a mature socialist one.
