Re: [Marxism] With apologies to Paul Verhoeven

The Netherlands (and Denmark) were the Connecticuts of Nazi Europe.
This goes a far stretch ahead in explaining what you have seen, Louis.
In fact, the most horrible thing with the Nazi regime is that it is so
similar to what we have today. In the end, HitlerÂs worse sin (as from
the point of view of the non-German, imperialist, bourgoeois) was to
apply to the population of Germany, and worse yet to a part of its
bourgeoisie, the Jewish bourgeoisie, the treatment that imperialism
prescribes for the wretched of the Earth. HitlerÂs adequate
contention, on Mein Kampf, that whatever he was proposing aped what
the USA did to the Original Peoples, meant nothing, and rightly so, to
the bourgeois: it is a sin to murder bourgeois, even in defense of the
objective necessities of the bourgeoisie. Hitler was a petty bourgeois
upstart whose hatred to the bourgeois had been funneled against the
Jew (and, quite characteristically, to the -Communists!) but he was
never more than an upstart. As to the regime, it simply concentrated
within Europe things that can be seen CURRENTLY the world over.
