in other words, you were surprised by the film's suggestion that
succession in the handling of the same type of power involves in one
way or another a degree of cooperation between successor and
predecessor?

I thought this was one of the film's best moments.

Sorry this quick reflection is my first post after reading the list
for quite a while now, but I couldn't resist it - especially not
since the answer you were looking for is already in your comment.
