Let's hope for the best and I would certainly support the Reconstruction
Party if I lived in New Orleans.  For the present, though, it's a fairly
local affair, though it's raising money nationally for its local campaigns.
There are many slips between even a very successful local formation and any
serious plans to go national.

Interestingly, though, all of the criticisms people have made about what the
Greens say and how they say it is equally applicable to what the
Reconstruction Party.  Mind you, those of us who support the Greens have no
problem with supporting campaigns who don't explicitly call for the
overthrow of capitalism...and I see no reason not to support the
Reconstructionist on the same basis.
