While a distancing from emotional loyalty to  Israeli colonialism by many US 
Jews is certainly a good thing, let's take  note of the article's ending - 
 
"But the study breaks new ground, he added, in finding that politics do not  
underpin declining support -- that it is not as many assume a response to  
Israel's handling of the peace process or problems with religious pluralism in  
the country. "
 
Defenders of the Palestinians still have to make the political  fight and not 
rely upon demographic changes among US Jews.
