Eli(sha?) (if I may be so familiar?),
  I just received and read your posting (attached) to Marxmail.  
  To you, I say:  Bravo!  I know Bonnie by reputation.  And as for Louis 
Proyect:  He has a first-rate intellect and a marvellous insight as a Marxist, 
but seems to be a bit confrontational, intolerant, and scornful.  He seems to 
validate an opinion that I have of our collective tendency, as Marxists:  He 
is/We are so obsessed with ideological hairsplitting and acidic self-criticism 
that the real heroes go unremarked.
  By the way, I've been on M'mail for about a month, and I have found that the 
vast majority of postings are crap, just a lot of spam.  
  But, there are three senders whose postings I always read, while deleting the 
others unopened.  They are, Louis Proyect, Walter Lippman, and you (although 
yours appear much less frequently, darnit).

Bonnie is active in organizing demonstrations in San Francisco that at least 
TRY to reach out to the public. How about you?
