[Marxism] Bourne vs. Bond (Socialist Worker on the Bourne Ultimatum)

Good review Walter from SW. It is very accurate. It is really great
entertainment. It is very hard to do fight scenes, for example, close up
since they almost always look fake, as opposed to full body-in-screen
fight scenes, but they pulled it off well in the Bourne movies. Matt
Damon is very interesting to watch, becoming "one-with-the-role" and is
totally believable. The gov't is the bad guy, clearly and it is very
anti-CIA like the reviewer states. There is no doubt that the CIA and
the powers in the White House would prefer such movies not be made. I
really recommend getting the first one, and watching them in series so
it makes more sense.

Another movie, not as well acted but something that puts the gov't "as
run by corporations" in a bad light is "The Shooter", starring Mark
Wahlberg and Danny Glover. It is openly "anti-capitalist" and shows how
corporations are the real power behind the scenes. It's a great "sniper"
movie for people who...like guns...and has lots of action.
