Don't underestimate the extent to which A) every one of us needs to be
continually "won" to our commitment, and more importantly B) the extent to
which every one of us needs to be motivated to actually DO something about
the commitment. It's one thing to be "won" to socialism, but never forget
that "Philosophers only interpret the world, the point remains to change
it." And a commitment to "change it" in the face of overwhelming odds takes
constant motivation, not a one-time "win."
