I'll just make one reply on this. Joaquin's tracing of objections by list
members to voting Democratic to Trot training is...and I used many other
words in earlier drafts of this line...mistaken.
Many of us were radical critics of the Democratic Party BEFORE joining any
Trotskyist organization. I always presumed that others joining the SWP
already opposed the Democrats and weren't going to be shifting a position
simply because they joined a group....
Oh, silly me!
Even if someone digging in the Marx archives would find his Horatio Seymour
white supremacy button from the 1868 election, it would not in the least
make me rethink in the least my opposition to the Democratic Party.
Though I would worry a bit about poor Karl's judgements....
