And for that reason is not a question of any kind _at the present_.
Until leftists have (a) achieved some coherence (probably through a
coalition rather than a party) and (b) gained some  muscle, there is no
such thing as a tactical decision by "the left." And leftists do not
have enough agreemnet to make their personal electoral decisions of any
relevance.

Hence  talking about electoral tactics now simply diverts from the tasks
which may eventually make discussing electoral tactics relevant.
