Absolutely.
Michael Harrington used to push this argument about progressives
"re-aligning" the Democratic Party. That did happen, but not the way
Harrington hoped -- the party re-aligned itself further right.

Regarding the DP, the new print edition of Counterpunch has a sharp and
funny take-down of the party's leading light, war-loving dyed-in-the-wool
Republican Hillary.
