This was mostly a variant of listening to an apologist for the Cold War
starting out talking about Munich and Hitler.  It was strung together non
sequitors and meaningless factoids.

Bush cherry-picked what he wanted with no reference to context.  Or, more
accurately, he had some grossly underpaid contract cherry pickers doing it
for him.

It was history for people who've sleepwalked through the last forty years.
The only thing really surprising was how deep they've been sleeping.
