This is the same kind of nonsense, the same kind of implicit defense of
imperialism, as the 'theory' that the Israel-Lobby determines U.S.
policy in the mideast. U.S. foreign policy is determined by leading
elements of the ruling class and state, and were they to change their
mind they would brush off those gusanos as though they were an annoying
moth.
