Also recorded a duo with Archie Shepp, "The Long
March" which was commissioned by the CPI to
commemorate Mao.

Another great musician gone.

In the last few years we've lost Steve Lacy, Andrew
Hill, Peter Kowald, Derek Bailey, Paul Rutherford just
last week, and now Max Roach.
