Incidentally, a book-length history of the KB has been
published:
Steffen, Michael
Geschichten vom Trüffelschwein
Politik und Organisation des Kommunistischen Bundes
1971 bis 1991
http://www.assoziation-a.de/gesamt/Geschichten_vom_Trueffelschwein.htm
The newspaper of the KB, AK, survives to this day,
though the initials now stand for Analyse & Kritik and
no longer for Arbeiterkampf.
The politics these days tend to be a sort of operaist
Marxism enriched with post-structuralist elements.
One could argue there is some sort of continuity
between Maoist groups which embraced Althusser and
Poulantzas in the 70s versus Deleuze and Foucault
today, though frankly I'm not sure if there is any
major continuity in terms of writers and readers of
the paper.
