My point is simply that while race plays a role in how people of 
color perceive the police, class can lead to a similar perception of 
police by white people.  I guess I'm just trying to see it as a big 
picture where all the factors are looked at together.

I'm really more of a football fan myself.  My interest in baseball is 
more casual and I primarily just pay attention to the Mariners.  Of 
course, that doesn't stop me from getting caught up in games.  I 
didn't get much sleep one night recently because a game dragged on 
into the 12th inning and I just couldn't turn off the tv until I knew 
the outcome, despite the fact that I knew I had to be up early for work.
